These disks are used in the analysis of special products such as: minerals, steels, sands, gypsum etc.. The disks are used as  'MONITORS'  for  the elimination of drift  in the slope and intercept of the XRF calibration lines. The  discs offer long term stability under the X-ray beam and a resistance to moisture.
